‘Key to the Cure’ at Saks Palm Beach Supports Dana-Farber

Palm Beach, Fla. – More than 125 people turned out for “Key to the Cure,” a cocktails-and-shopping event at Saks Fifth Avenue Palm Beach. The gathering was in support of the Susan F. Smith Center for Women’s Cancers at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

A percentage of sales over a four-day period, as well as 100 percent of sales of the “Key to the Cure” T-shirt designed by Rag & Bone, will support the research and treatment of women’s cancers at the institute.

Peter Schuette, general manager of the store, and Dana-Farber Trustee Phyllis Krock greeted guests at the Oct. 16, 2014, event, including Nancy and Don Carter, Lynn Brodsky, Emily DiMaggio and Steve Pruitt, Pat Ditri, Ginger Feuer, Lori and Juliana Gendelman, Joanne and Ron Graceman, Trish Faulkner, Virginia Longo, Lydia Schoenfeld, Terri and Paul Sriberg, and Gail Worth.

The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a principal teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. Designated as a comprehensive cancer center by the National Cancer Institute, it is one of the largest recipients among independent hospitals of NCI and National Institutes of Health grant funding.
