Darlene Jordan to Chair 30th Annual Preservation Foundation Gala

Darlene Jordan, the Preservation Foundation trustee and executive director of the Gerald R. Jordan Foundation, has been named chairperson of the Foundation’s 30th Annual Dinner Dance.

The gala will be held March 2, 2012, at The Breakers, Palm Beach.

Darlene Jordan and her husband, Gerald R. Jordan, of the financial firm Hellman, Jordan Management Co., are active philanthropists in the Palm Beach and Boston areas, supporting a wide range of causes. In 2008, she served as a “Mitt Romney for President” national finance co-chair. She is a former Boston assistant district attorney and Massachusetts assistant attorney general.

As in past years, Foundation Trustee Scott Snyder will work on the design style and theme for the event, which won’t be announced until that evening.

Van Cleef & Arpels, the jewelry, watch and perfume company founded in Paris in 1896, will serve as corporate benefactor.
