PALM BEACH, FL – The International Society plans to capture the romance of Paris at its 2012 Holiday Dinner Dance, “La Vie en Rose.”

The society’s annual black-tie fund-raising gala will feature ballet interludes by the Palm Beach Ballet Center, directed by Joan Miller, as well as a gourmet dinner, music by Alex Donner and his orchestra, and Paris-themed décor by Ed Wignall.

The program is Dec. 17, 2012, at the Beach Club, Palm Beach.

Chairing the event is Herme de Wyman Miro. Honorary chairman are Patrick Park, Veronica Atkins, Larry and Suzanne DeGeorge, Dick and Sally Robinson, Lois Pope, Joan G. Rubin, Ari Rifkin, Mary Harper, Lucille Jacobs and Jack Berger.

Event sponsors include the Richard and Helen Devos Foundation, Rhoda and David Chase Family Foundation, Inc., Lois Pope LIFE Foundation, Inc., AutoCricket and the Arthur E. Benjamin Foundation.

The International Society of Palm Beach, founded by Herme de Wyman Miro and her late husband, René de Wyman, has distributed more than $3 million in scholarships and grants in support of the arts, education, medicine, child welfare, animal welfare and other causes.
