Historical Society to Honor Henry Flagler
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Historical Society of Palm Beach County’s 12th annual Archival Evening will honor Henry Morrison Flagler, the tycoon and Gilded Age visionary.
The Historical Society’s chief fund-raising event will be held Dec. 6, 2013, at The Breakers, a signature achievement of Flagler’s built in 1896. Proceeds from the evening will go toward civics and history projects for Palm Beach County students as well as the society’s archives and artifacts collection.

The society’s Archival Evening honors people whose achievements have significantly contributed to the region. Last year’s honoree was Alexander W. Dreyfoos.
This year’s Grand Corporate Benefactor is PNC Wealth Management. The Corporate Benefactor is The Breakers Palm Beach, Corporate Sponsor is Tiffany & Co. Palm Beach and the official Magazine Sponsor for the 2013-2014 season is Palm Beach Illustrated.

The society collects, preserves and shares the history of Palm Beach County and operates the Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum.
